Dear Dr. Thor,
First allow me to compliment you, and your staff, on the professionalism I witnessed this past weekend at the Cowboy Bullriding Classic in Asheville, North Carolina. It would be obvious to Stevie Wonder that you folks are not only good at what you do, but dedicated.
Secondly, my phone has not stopped ringing! The cowboys were so impressed with the attention paid to them prior to the performance, and the treatment of their friends injuries during, that they have requested Extreme Sports Medicine attend all events sanctioned by the World Bullriding Federation.
I explained that I would love to make their request a reality, but at this time there was no way the WBF could afford the expense of such quality service.
If I may, please allow me to make a suggestion. If there is some way you could get a sponsor to back the Extreme Sports Medicine program; I would insist that to be a WBF sanctioned event, the producer of each event would be required to hang your sponsor banners in the arena, and make announcements at the event that you are in attendance due to the generosity of said sponsor.
This may not seem like an even trade to your sponsor, but they must keep in mind that people who love bull riding are the backbone of this country. They pay taxes, they work forty hours a week and they are sponsor loyal.
I hope you can be at each and every one of our sanctioned events and look forward to a long and lasting relationship with Extreme Sports Medicine.
Happy Trails,
Craig Copeland
